While these guidelines can relate directly to the practice of caving, they are primarily general rules affecting cavers visiting the area in question.
For instance, it is important to know if a massif is closed for two months a year due to fire risk, or if there are prohibitions against using motor vehicles or camping in the same spot for more than two consecutive nights.
The system Zouhair developed met the initial requirements exactly, but practical use revealed a need to take things further—which is what Clément and Paul have now done.
Administrators and managers now have access to a module that provides a comprehensive overview of existing guidelines.
Each guideline has its own dedicated page, making it very easy to edit.
The display of guidelines on the region, country, and massif pages has been improved, and the tools for soft or permanent deletion have been revamped.
It is now easier to link an existing guideline to a geographical entity—or unlink it.
