Paul and Tristan looked into an issue raised by Adrien: how can documents be made accessible within Grottocenter when they are available online, but there is no permission to embed them directly into the platform?
This issue has now been resolved: if you provide the URL for a PDF (such as a journal issue) and specify the starting page for a particular article, that page will be displayed. This allows for direct access to items like survey drawings (topography), equipment lists, or any other relevant information, right from the entry page.
However, there are many journals for which we do have permission to embed the files directly into Grottocenter. In these cases, the information can be displayed natively, with no risk of a link to an external site breaking.
