Novedades Grottocenter

Hola,

Ahora es el momento de mantenerte informado de las novedades de Grottocenter: el proyecto está bastante avanzado y estamos muy orgullosos de poder presentar los nuevos elementos que ya están disponibles en la última versión de Grottocenter.
También tenemos proyectos que se materializarán en las próximas semanas y necesitamos tu ayuda para hacer un paso decisivo y, finalmente, poder ofrecer una nueva versión totalmente funcional de Grottocenter !


Hace unos días, empezamos a implementar el módulo de autenticación. También se han implementado la barra de menús y la página de cavidades. De aquí a unas semanas, gracias a la financiación proporcionada por la SSS y la FFS, será posible autenticar e introducir archivos bibliográficos. En breve queremos permitir que estos documentos se puedan asociar con cavidades, organizaciones o agrupaciones y de esta manera ofrecer un programa totalmente funcional.

Hemos desarrollado un proyecto basado en la comunidad y te ofrecemos la oportunidad de darle soporte. Si deseas saber más y decidir si participarás en recogida de fondos que acabamos de lanzar, puedes hacer clic en el enlace que ponemos a continuación.

Actualmente ya tenemos 960€ con el compromiso de pago. Enseguida que lleguemos a los 3700€, podremos poner en marcha el proyecto ;-)

The website http://www.grottocenter.org has been really active for a few months. This message is a quick overview of the project and will explain how you can contribute. The www.grottocenter.org web application is a worldwide database community dedicated to speleology and based on the wiki collaborative system. The project aims to list natural caves ; every caver can collaborate to the database. All the data on www.grottocenter.org is under the CC-BY-NC license which guarantees free access and free usage of the data for non-commercial use with respect of the authors’ rights. The software running GrottoCenter is licensed under the AGPL license; all source code is available on Github. This license is similar to the CC-BY-NC license but is better-suited for web-application. Caving expedition in Kyrgyzstan !

The Fund for the   Preservation and Exploration of Caves (FPEC) offer   cavers the opportunity to take part   project on caving research in almost   non-explored caves in Kyrgyzstan. In Kyrgyzstan   , the caving potential is huge. Almost all prospective regions are poorly explored or unexplored at all. Cave systems which were discovered previously require further exploration. In connection with this we think that the co-operation with colleagues from other countries with the aim to make joint researches in Kyrgyzstan may bring good results.   This year we are planning researches in the perspective regions of the Turkestan Range located in the south-west of Kyrgyzstan and associated with the Pamir-Alai Mountain system.             For the time being those regions are insufficiently explored and that provides good opportunity for the wide search of caves.    Besides, there i...
